About Us 







Thamar is the founder of Bless My Bag.

She is a social worker practicing in Bloubergstrand, Western Cape

Being a former Mrs SA finalist, she feels strongly about being a woman with purpose and restoring the self-worth of women in need.


Tarmi is a co-founder of Bless My Bag and responsible for our social media and marketing in the Western Cape.

She is a robotic process automation software developer for an international consulting company and combines her love for technology with her love for people.

She has always had a passion to help with causes involving women, children and animals.



Misha is a registered counsellor working with children.

She is involved with our outreach events in the Western Cape.

She has a warm and caring nature and someone who loves to make an impact in the lives of everyone she meets.


Scott works closely with Thamar.

He is always ready to help to keep the logistics behind Bless my Bag running like clockwork, ready for the next outreach.

Scott is originally from Zambia and has indirectly touched the lives of many ladies through his involvement with our project.


Elfrieda is a stay-at-home mom, mother of 2 beautiful, adopted boys and passionate about women, children, and those in need. She loves taking care of the needs of people in her community and looking forward to touching more women’s lives with Bless my Bag.


Evelyn was inspired by her daughter to become a volunteer.

She is a stay at home mom and grandmother to three grand kids. 

She feels blessed when she can make a difference and then see a smile on a face.

Evelyn assists in the Western Cape.


Destiny is a single mother and know what it feels like to be alone and on top of this have to stay in a place of safety.

She loves to restore the dignity of young girls.

Destiny is involved in the Western Cape.

In Memoriam

Tanya was the representative for Gauteng and had her own marketing consulting company.

She believed that we were put on this earth to make a difference, no matter how small! 

She also manufactured shoes in her spare time and hoped to turn the brand into job creation to empower women.

Jolize is the representative for the North-West province and the owner of a clothing boutique in Klerksdorp.

She is also a professional make-up artist and was crowned as the second runner up in the Miss Klerksdorp 2019 competition as senior Brand Ambassador for Bless my Bag.

She is community driven, always willing to help and very passionate in what she does


Lehanke already serves her community at a very young age as a Junior Brand Ambassador for Bless my Bag in the North-West province.

She believes that one’s greatest contribution to others is by being involved in your community.

Lehanke won the 2022 Toddler and Tween of the World - South Africa pageant while representing Bless my Bag to make others aware of the needs of vulnerable women.

Alida is a social worker and dreams of one day imparting truth and hope to the next generation through teaching.

She is our representative in the Eastern Cape and the mother of three.

To live an abundant life, empower people by grace and restore hope fuels her heart. 


Helené is a pastoral counsellor with many years experience in this field.

She is our representative in Windhoek, Namibia.
